WEEK SEVEN: PROCESS POST - 3D MODEL CONSTRUCTION
In my previous post, I wrote about how I used AUTOCAD to draw the parts that I needed for my 3D model in order to be able to use the laser cutting tool. This blog is a follow upon that, showing how I used the laser cutting machine and how I built up my 3D model using the cut out piece of pull board.

After completing the drawings on AutoCad, I saved it as a 'dxf' file so that the laser cutter can read the file, then, I imported the saved into the my google drive folder because that was the only way I could get it on the machine system without using a flash drive.
The image above shows machine system with the drawings I made. I logged onto my google drive account on the system and downloaded the dxf file which I imported into the software and then scaled to the required size. Afterward, I added the material into the machine and started cutting.
The image in the fig 2 above shows the completed job of the machine, cutting the landscape layers of my 3D model.

I completed the cutting of the material needed for the construction of the model, then I went back to my studio where I began to assenble all the peices together using an all purpose adhersive.
