WEEK EIGHT: FINAL DESIGN BOARDS

This week, I started and completed my design board using Adobe Illustrator to make these designs. This blog post will show the process that was taken to create these design boards.

Fig 1
I started by opening a new page in an A3 landscape format, then as shown in the image in Fig 1 above, I went on to place the image which I chose as my background on the A3 paper.

Fig 2
Secondly, after adding the background image and placing it on the A3 sheet, I then went on to reduce the opacity of the image from 100 -10. [see Fig 2].
Fig 3
After reducing the opacity from 100 - 10, I moved on to the addition of the titles and the logo of my brand (Archidelix).

Fig 4
As shown in Fig four, I moved to adding the necessary images and text. These processes were then repeated over and over again to make the multiple design boards that I created.

Comments

  1. A few things:

    1. is this the font that best suits this project? Does it go with your design?
    2. In your concept part of brief was helping to redesign the town and create a new, progressive environment for the townspeople to live in.
    3. The second photo of the 3D outcome is not the best - it looks as if it is on an angle.
    4. Would like to see more details of the model.
    5. The perspective drawing should have some text with it - what is this a view of (rear or entrance etc)?
    6. The amphitheatre is visible in the model, but no where else in the design boards. I suggest adding a section on this with drawings to demonstrate your design.
