WEEK ONE : Term Three Welcome Post

I would like to welcome you to the beginning of the third and final term of my Art and Design module, in this post, I will be making known some of the things that I look forward to improving on from what I did last term, what skills I would like to learn and develop for my project this term, and also what I am most looking forward to doing this term. 

Last term, I was able to use my blogs to express and show my process and progress of my project throughout the term, despite doing that relatively okay, I was not satisfied with how I did it and how I was not able to meet some marking criteria, which is while this term I will dedicate more time and effort into my blogs and try my best to incorporate what are in the marking criteria to the creations of my blogs. I am going to try my best to be consistent this term and post every blog at the right time. Another thing that I will do differently from last term that can help boost my score is to make sure I do every self-study given to us. 

In terms of what new skills and knowledge I would like to develop this term in relation to my project, I would like to dedicate my time to learning more advanced architectural software that would help in having much more refined and well-put-together outcomes, software like AUTOCAD is one that I have already started learning during the two weeks break. Another skill I would like to develop is my model-making skills, I love making models, the one I made last term was good for a first attempt but it could use a lot of refining which is what I would love to develop this term. 

Just like I said above, I love making models and that is one aspect I really cannot wait for this term, to bring to life everything I have been able to develop throughout the term.

I am also looking forward to taking this project from the perspective of an actual architect rather than the point of view of a student which was what I did last term, I will think more about the relationship between this structure and the people that would use it, I will think about local ideas that could help form the structure of this building.

In terms of the project I will be embarking on this term, I am looking forward to doing a deeper research than that which I did last term and using this research to advance the success of the completed project
