SKETCHUP LAYOUT: ELEVATIONS
In this blog post, I will explain briefly the process I took in designing my elevations and adding the measurements.
Below I am going to display all the images of my process using Sketchup layout to complete the design of the elevations.
Firstly, I designed my project using SketchUp, and then after all the designs were complete, I went on to change the design from a 3D form into a flat 2d elevation form for all South, East, West, and North elevations.
Secondly, I went to the SketchUp layout and imported the designs from Sketchup to a titled page background on the Sketchup layout. Next, I began to edit the title, the name of my project, the date, the name of the company, and the logo. I did this for each and every elevation.
Finally, I began to add the measurement of the length of the site and the breath and height of the building, I did this using the pencil and the text tool available on the Sketchup Layout.
