DESIGN BOARDS CREATION: PHOTOSHOP

Throughout this term, I have worked on my project named 'Infinite Haven'. 'Infinite Haven' is a children's hospital which I have been working on throughout the course on this term. As a way of displaying the final outcomes of my work, I will be using design boards that I will be creating using Photoshop.

The first step I took in using Photoshop to create my design board was to open a new file, and then click the 'print' button that displayed different sizes of papers. I clicked the A3 and changed the orientation from portrait to landscape.

After the plain white background was displayed, I went to Pexel.com to get a free abstract background that I could use as the background of my design boards instead of leaving it plain white. After downloading it, I went back to Photoshop and clicked on 'insert new image' which was at the bottom of the screen, then I added the image and enlarged it to fit in well with the A3 background.

The next thing I did was to add my Logo which I created last year using canva. I went to my Google Drive where the image of the logo was stored, I downloaded the image to the computer and copied the downloaded image, after which I went back to Photoshop and pasted the image there, and then I clicked on 'ctrl+shift+t' to enlarge the image of the logo. After that, I clicked on the move button and moved the logo to the top right hand corner.

Moving on, I added text to write the title of my project and added another one to add the title of the design board I was creating at that time, and then, I added the text where I wrote about the main body of the design board.

Another thing I added was the image of my project relating to the particular design board that I was creating, I did this by going to my Google Drive and downloading the image to the computer, and then I copied the downloaded image, I went back to Photoshop and pasted the copied image and I then edited it to the right size and position on the design board.

This process was done for all the design boards we had to create for our gallery page.
