2D OUTCOMES: PROCREATE
For this blog post, I will show the process that I took to create the floor plans for my children's hospital project. For this floor plan design, I used a digital software called Procreate.
Procreate is a very versatile tool that can be used in various ways. I started by getting an image from my sketchup design and imported it into Procreate, then I created a new layer where I began to trace the shape of my building. After that, I created another layer where I began to draw the features of the ground floor, like, the reception, the waiting area, toilets, elevators, stairs, etc
For the first floor, I moved on to create a new page and then inserted the ground floor I had designed, I edited the ground floor and drew to rooms for the first floor using the brushes and grid lines on Procreate.
After the design, I moved from Procreate to SketchUp Layout to add the necessary dimensions of the floor plan and put it on a title page.
