WEEK SEVEN: 3D OUTCOME PLANNING

For this post, I will be writing about my plan for the creation of my 3D outcomes, mainly about the type of materials that will be needed for this, the estimated amount of time that will be needed for the creation of the model, and also thinking about how the model would be presented in my portfolio for assessment. 

In terms of materials, I am thinking of using MDF wood for the base of the building floors and the top of the building, for the glassy part of the walls can use either clear acrylic or acetate, I will also try going to the metal workshop to get the infinity symbol bind around the buildings. I will also try using some grey foams for the surroundings of the buildings in making objects like benches, and cars. I will be getting these materials from the workshops at DMU.

In terms of time, because of the fact that I am creating both the building and the building's surroundings, I will be giving myself a maximum of 2 weeks to complete it, trying to finish all the scaling and cutting of materials in the first week then use the second week to put all the cut pieces together and start getting the structure of my model towards the end of the second week.
